22nd Annual Marine Industries Christmas Boat Parade on Naples Bay

Naples, FL - The 22nd Annual Marine Industries Christmas Boat Parade will pass in review before a select committee of judges stationed at the Naples City Dock Saturday December 10th, 2011. The parade of boats will start at 6:00pm and will be brilliantly lighted in the theme, Holiday Boats & Lights On Naples Bay, LIGHT IT UP YOUR WAY. All size boats are welcome to enter this free event.

PARADE ROUTE: Parade will start at 5:30p from Marker 18 (Bayview park & Hamilton Harbor marina area). Will continue north to Naples City Dock, to Naples Boat Club Marina, and to the Gordon River bridge.

The parade may be viewed from: Pincher's Crab Shack, Riverwalk Restaurant, Naples City Dock, Naples Landing, Kelly's Fish House, The Boat House Restaurant, Cove Inn and Bayview Park.

Awards and gift certificates from Marine Industries, America Marine and Fuel, and many of the waterfront restaurants with an approximate value of $3000.00 will be given to the best decorated boats in their category. There will be 8 to 10 Boat winners.

The Captain's Meeting is a must attend for those wishing to participate. It will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7th 6:30 p.m. Pincher's Crab Shack at Tin City 239-434-6616.

The Boat Parade is sponsored by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County Foundation and to benefit The Ricky King Fund, a foundation that since 1978 has provided support for the unmet financial medical needs of children. Frank Perrucci, Chairman of the Parade as well as President of MIACC, welcomes tax deductible donations from participants, onboard or onshore, which will be presented 100 percent to the Ricky King Fund at a special Parade Award Ceremony in January, 2012.
